Ministries

The SCD ECY Dept. offers a number of ministries to the youth, youth adults, and youth leaders of the
CCCU.  These include:

SCD ECY RETREAT
Usually held near the end of May, the SCD ECY Retreat is an opportunity for students, young adults, and youth leaders to get away from all of the distractions of life for a weekend and focus in on God.  Check out www.stimulus2008.org for info on this past year's event

SCD ECY YOUTH CAMPS
We have summer youth camps for students ages 9-17.  These extended times of worship, discipleship, and fellowship have proven to be pivotal in the lives of those who attend.  Many people look back with fond memories of their youth camp experiences.  What's more, many pastors, missionaries, and Christian leaders have been called to ministry during our youth camps.  Check out the CAMPS page for info on this year's summer youth camps.

FALL EVENT
This past year, the SCD ECY hosted a paintball tournament in the fall.  This ministry event is a great opportunity to come together for some fun.  Watch for details on the Fall 2009 event

YOUTH LEADER TRAINING
There are numerous training opportunities for our youth pastors and youth leaders.  We hold special times of training at our Retreat, as well as provide scholarships to the CCCU Church Life Conference.  We believe that continuing education is important, and we want to provide easy access to as many training events as possible.  Contact us for more information on these opportunities.
